Biography (1984)[]
Wayne started dancing at the age of 10 at the Mullen School, Leeds. He began his professional career with the Dougie Squires' Second Generation.
Theatre credits include: Mr. Mistoffelees, George and Macavity in Cats, his West End debut; Song & Dance; Anything Goes; Wayne Sleep's Bits and Pieces and the original casts of Chess and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Choreography includes: Two series of Maid Marian (BBC); Archers Goon and Return of the Psamiad. He has also choreographed for Wayne Sleep. Wayne has choreographed all three series of The Biz (Children's BBC), and was Resident Director on the tour of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (R.U.G.) and on the West End production of Jesus Christ Superstar (Lyceum Theatre).
Other: He has appeared on the Grace Kennedy series 1983 and played the part of William in the film Pirates of Treasure Island. He has appeared in numerous television shows both here and abroad.
