The 2nd US Tour opened on 11th January 1985 and ran until 30th November 1986 at the Shubert Theatre, Los Angeles. While technically not a tour in this iteration, this sit-down production did go on to become the 4th US Tour.
The show was produced by Cameron Mackintosh, the Really Useful Company Limited, David Geffen and the Shubert Organization.
