The movie character has little in common with her stage counterpart, save for being an ensemble dancer. Instead, this Tantomile is a friendly and cheeky kitten.

Tantomile is a friendly and playful kitten, often seen with a smile on her face. While some of the other cats are initially wary of Victoria, Tantomile warms up to her quickly. Tantomile is also one of the only cats sympathetic towards Grizabella, looking upset by Grizabella's treatment but still wary of the outcast nonetheless.
Tantomile is in all of the ensemble dances. She also has several solo lines in "Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats", including hitting the high C. During "The Rum Tum Tugger", she swoons over the titular Rum Tum Tugger and tries to dance with him though he rejects her. She even appears to get jealous when Tugger focuses his attention on Victoria instead. At the end of his song, she squeals over him with the other young queens. Along with fellow kittens Coricopat and Jellylorum, Tantomile is shown looking upset when Gus calls them out for not being well trained. In "Skimbleshanks: The Railway Cat", she can be seen messing about with Mistoffelees, the pair passing cards back-and-forth behind Skimbleshanks' back. Tantomile is very worried when Old Deuteronomy is kidnapped, telling Munkustrap, "There must be something we can do".
Tantomile has brown striped fur. Her collar is red with black spots and a gold tag.
