The original Australian production in Sydney released a full cast recording, produced by EMI and released in 1986, the year following the show's opening. It is currently available as a double CD, with a complete lyric booklet.

This recording is notably the only English language recording with every song from the show (excluding alternate versions of the same songs).

Trivia[]

  • This is the only English-language cast recording to include "The Awefull Battle of the Pekes and the Pollicles". It was also the first of any language to include the song, which is often omitted from cast recordings despite being performed in the show.
