Since retiring from his career as a singer, actor and dancer, Paul Kribbe has gone on to found his own production company with James de Groot called Break-a-leg-Productions.

Biography[]
After private dance training, Paul Kribbe accompanied stars like Tina Turner, Rita Moreno, Kim Wilde and Caterina Valente in numerous television and stage shows across Europe.
He gained his first musical experience in the ensemble of Mimi Crimi, a Dutch version of Chicago. He played his first television role in the Dutch television film Nachtbrakers (Riff). The role of the "Rum Tum Tugger" in Cats Hamburg finally led Paul to Germany in 1987. Immediately afterwards he was hired for the role of "Greaseball" in the Starlight Express premiere cast in Bochum. It was followed by leading roles in various musicals such as Rocky Horror Show (Frank-n-Furter), Elisabeth (the Death) and West Side Story (Tony). For the role of "Don Quichote / Cervantes" in The Man from La Mancha, Paul Kribbe was awarded the German Musical Award Image Award.
His most recent roles include "Lumiere" in Disney's Beauty and the Beast in Oberhausen and the "Sheriff of Nothingham" in Robin Hood in Berlin. At the Summer Festival Bad Hersfeld 2010 Paul was seen as "Karlemann" in the world premiere of Carmen - A German Musical.
Paul first started his own CD projects in 1990 under the pseudonym "Ferris Dean". The rock / pop project "Twisted" in Austria and the single "Close to you" followed. Paul sang an 80s party CD as Roy Fire. In 2003 the CD “You walk with me” was released together with Andreas Bieber, accompanied by a small tour. Paul can be heard on many musical CDs, including Tabaluga & Lilli and Starlight Express.
Paul was one of the judges on the Sat1 program You can dance in 2007. At DSDS he worked as a performance coach. As a guest lecturer, he taught vocal interpretation at the Folkwang University in Essen.
In 2007 Paul had his successful debut as director of Das Feuerwerk at the Aalto Theater in Essen. In 2009 the musical Chess followed at the same theater, where he took over the direction and choreography. Also in 2009 he choreographed the opera Alessandro at the Nationaltheater Mannheim and directed the musical Cabaret at the United Stages in Bolzano.
In March 2010, the comedy Unter Vögeln, translated and directed by Paul, had its premiere at the "Stratmann's Theater" in Essen. Most recently, he directed the rock musical Tick tick… Boom! by Jonathan Larsson for the newly opened Katielli Theater in Datteln.
