Biography (1987)[]

Marsha Bland started dancing at the age of eight at the Jean Pearce School of Dancing in Leeds. She later went on to study a three year theatre arts course which she actually completed a year ago. Her first major stage appearance was at the age of ten in the hit musical Annie in which she performed for three years in London and on the National tour playing the title role. Other stage credits include Bet in the musical Oliver again on National tour and in the West End and most recently the role of Peron's Mistress in Evita at the Opera House, Manchester.

Television credits include High Hopes - a documentary film in which she was featured as herself, Lyrics - a tribute to Tim Rice, and a number of guest appearances.

Marsha also has several pantomime credits but her biggest achievement to date was winning the title of Miss Dance Great Britain 1986.
