Biography (2019)[]
Training: Li-Tong formally trained in musical theatre at the Rotterdam Conservatory. Starting from a very early age, Li-Tong's vocal talents were best realized at the Chinese National Singing Contest, where she won 1st Prize in three consecutive years. Li-Tong also claims fame to the title "Most Promising Chinese Talent of Europe" in the European Chinese Singing Contest.
Theatre credits include: Li-Tong was the first and only Chinese musical theatre performer to play the role of Kim in productions of Miss Saigon in Europe in multiple languages. She has also played the roles of Gigi and Ellen. Her other credits include Mimi in Rent (Amsterdam), Virilla in The Frogs (London), Nicola in Kinky Boots (Sweden) and Aurora Aquino in Here Lies Love (National Theatre London).
Li-Tong has gained success in the Chinese musical industry, playing Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, followed by lead roles in the original Chinese productions of Rock of Ages and Murder Ballad. Most recently she starred in a new production of the one-woman show Tell Me On A Sunday.
TV and film credits include: Kung Fu Killer, De Zevende Hemel, Adventure Girls, Shanghai A-Z, Van God Los and Jeuk.
