Karl Morgan is a British actor and dancer. He portrayed the role of Carbucketty/Pouncival in multiple productions of Cats. He has also appeared in the TV shows Captain Mack, Peak Practice, and Eastenders. Karl now runs a boy's dance program called Movement Warriors.

Stammt aus Liverpool/England. Ausgebildet wurde er am Mersey Side Dance Centre und am Dorreen Bird College of Performing Arts. Das Musik-Theater ist ihm genauso vertraut wie das klassische Ballett, Steptanz, Jazz-und Modern Dance. Am Bromley Theatre in London war er in der Rolle des Action in der "West Side Story" zu sehen. Als Katz stand Karl Morgan bereits anläßlich der Großbritannien-Tournee von CATS als Rumpus Katz' und als zauberkater Mr. Mistoffelees auf der Bühne.


Karl has a tremendous passion and talent for dance.

He trained at Birds College, and specialised in ballet, Jazz and contemporary dance.

Karl went on to have a varied and very successful dance career, which has included touring with Sylvie Guillem in Bolero, West End shows including Cats, Song & Dance, Guys & Dolls, and as an original cast member of Billy Elliot. Karl also danced in the movies of Cats and Phantom of the Opera.

Karl has worked regularly with Billy Elliot choreographer Peter Darling on workshops for his new productions including Lord of the Rings and Charlie and Chocolate Factory.

Karl has also worked at the RNT in productions of Guys & Dolls and Oh What A Lovely War, and at the RSC in productions of Merry Wives of Windsor, and Coriolanus. Also as Puck in A Midsummers Night Dream for the Shyster Theatre company.

Movement Warrior classes has been running successfully in south west London for 5 years now, alongside delivering classes from the Balletboyz Studio in Kingston. Karl has also been guest teaching and choreographing at many performing arts colleges over the years, and also providing workshops for The Imagination Institute London.

As of summer 2017, Karl and Movement Warriors are now part of the faculty for the Royal Ballet International Summer School, at which Karl delivered workshops to high acclaim this year and will be returning for summer 2018 and on.

Karl's goal is to pass on his knowledge and passion for dance to young people, using the philosophy he has put to work so successfully through Movement Warriors.
