Biography (2019)[]

Justin W. Geiss (Swing) is so pumped to be joining CATS! He started his dance training at Metropolitan Ballet Academy in Jenkintown Pennsylvania, where he would find his love for performing. He joined the Houston Ballet Academy when he was 14, and started dancing 9-6 Monday through Saturday and doing his High School online when he got home at night. Here, he performed in John Neumeier's Yondering as Molly Boy, and in Stanton Welch's Tales of Texas as Pecos Bill, Amoeba, and Tarantella Soloist. After 3 years of hard training, he joined the Nancy Einhorn Milwaukee Ballet 2 Program where he would perform roles such as Alcindoro in Michael Pink's La Boheme, Chinese Man and Jacks in Michael Pink's The Nutcracker, Waiter in Thom Dancy's My Dearest Horace Vandergelder, and Soloist in Timothy O'Donnell's The Sunscreen Song. A year and a half into this program he left to do Compass Rose Theater's production of A Chorus Line as Bobby. He recently performed in the John W Engeman Theater's production of Newsies as Henry and U/S Crutchie. He has now made the full switch from strict ballet to musical theater, and he could not be happier about it.
