Biography (1987)[]
James Francis-Johnston was born at Newport Gwent, South Wales and trained for three years at the Italia Conti Stage School. His credits include the British premiere of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers as a stage show at the Theatre Royal, York, The Artful Dodger in Oliver!, a chinese policeman in Aladdin at Weston-super-Mare and most recently, General Tom Thumb in Barnum with Michael Crawford at the Victoria Palace, London. He has just finished a television production of Barnum to be screened at Christmas this year. His television work includes The Real Price of Fame for the BBC and It's Not Where You Start It's Where You Finish for Tyne Tees. His hobbies are squash, tennis, golf, football, rugby, jogging... in other words - sport.
