Biography[]

1999
Emma began her dance training at the age of five with Barbara Lynch and pursued her classical training with Carol Trenfield and Leeanne Rutherford. For the past six years, Emma has been studying for her VCE which included various dance styles and drama at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and her singing training with Ian White. Emma has performed in two operas, Faust and Lohengrin with the Victorian State Opera and in 1992 and 1994 she performed for the seasons with the Australian Ballet in their production of Nutcracker. In 1997 and 1998 Emma was awarded the Sir Robert Helpmann Ballet Scholarship in South Australia. Emma has also appeared in various television productions and also in a number of television films and commercials. Emma would like to dedicate this performance to her mum, dad, sister, family and friends for all of their support over the years.

2015
EMMA DELMENICO commenced training at the age of five at the Barbara Lynch Dance Studio studying various disciplines of dance, music and drama. She later furthered her performance skills at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. Emma has performed in the operas; Faust and Lohengrin for the Victorian State Opera; and The Nutcracker for The Australian Ballet Company. From 1999 to 2001, she performed the role of Victoria in CATS during the Australian Big Top Tour before going on to become Dance Captain and Swing for the World Tour. In 2014 Emma took on the role of Resident Choreographer and Swing for CATS, which commenced touring in 2014 in South Korea, followed by tours to Singapore, Macau and a return tour to South Korea. On the musical Wicked, Emma toured Australia, Singapore and Korea as Resident Dance Supervisor and Swing and continued as the Australian Dance Supervisor overseeing Wicked’s most recent Australian tour. Other performance credits include; Mack and Mabel and Bye Bye Birdie for The Production Company and various children’s theatre productions, television, films and commercials.
