Biography[]

1983[]

CLAUDE R. TESSIER (Swing) was on Broadway in A Chorus Line, Evita and Copperfield; on SCTV Network Comedy, he danced in a segment spoofing Fred Astaire; on HBO, he appeared with Donald O'Connor in "The Last Great Vaudeville Show." In various productions, Claude played a dog, a horse and a buffalo and is happy to graduate to a cat.

1986[]

CLAUDE R. TESSIER (Munkustrap) was seen on Broadway in A Chorus Line, Evita and Copperfield; on SCTV network comedy he danced with Catherine O'Hara as Fred to her Ginger; on HBO, he appeared with Donald O'Connor in "The Last Great Vaudeville Show." Claude has worked in Australia and Canada in such productions as A Chorus Line, The Boyfriend, The Imaginary Invalid and Man of La Mancha.

Death[]

He died from AIDS-related illness the day after World AIDS Day in 1992. Prior to this, he had married Andrea Martin.
