Trivia[]
- Although the linear notes credit Growltiger and Griddlebone's duet as "The Ballad of Billy McCaw", the recorded deut is actually the Italian Aria "In Una Tepida Notte".
- Cynthia Onrubia (original Broadway Victoria) was credited in this cast recording as singing the soprano solo in "Memory". However, some later re-releases of the same recording credit the solo to Whitney Kershaw (original Broadway Sillabub) instead. Kershaw's Sillabub also sang the solo at the 1983 Tony Awards performance, and Sillabub sang the solo in all subsequent years (by 1983 at least) of the original Broadway production.
- Similarly, Janet L Hubert (original Broadway Tantomile) is credited in the opening night playbill and this cast recording as singing the soprano solo in "The Moments of Happiness", but by 1983 Sillabub was singing it permanently instead.
